November 2010 No.1 Nottingham Science Park Attracts Major New Occupiers Green Street In The Meadows Red hot demand for green homes | New Year, New Office, New Structure ![]() Following news of its closure, we took the opportunity to relocate from East Midlands Development Agency to newly refurbished offices in Nottinghams historic Lace Market. EMDAs offices, and the flexibility they afforded, served us well for five years while we established ourselves as a specialist developer and built up our team. Now, with our own identity as a sustainable developer, a more permanent home suits us well - youll find us at 50 St. Marys Gate, next to the Keanes Head pub and overlooking St. Marys Church, with Nottingham Contemporary just around the corner. Weve taken the first floor of an attractive former mill building, part of Nottinghams famous lace-making legacy and just a minute away from the nearest tram stop and five minutes from the train station. EMDAs closure has also meant a change in our shareholding structure. Whereas previously the public sectors 50% representation on Blueprints Board came jointly via EMDA and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), EMDAs share has now transferred to HCA, making us 50/50 partnership between Aviva Investors Igloo Regeneration fund and the HCA. A time of change then; but the mission remains the same - delivering innovative, well designed, sustainable, regeneration projects. Over the course of the coming year, well be sharing more news of what were working on. Theres a lot going on Contact: Nick Ebbs nick.ebbs@blueprint.gb.net |
