November 2010 | Green Street In The Meadows. Sustainable town houses snapped up. ![]() The first nine homes of Phase three of the development were released to the public in January – all were reserved within 72 hours. At the same time, our first residents have been busy unpacking boxes and moving into the twelve now completed Phase one homes – each new homeowner receiving a tailored gourmet hamper from the nearby Riverbank Bar & Kitchen on Trent Bridge, as well as a unique flowerpot for their roof terraces painted by children from Greenfields Community School in The Meadows. Green Street in The Meadows provides a mix of 38 three- and four-bed contemporary town houses, designed by Nottingham based and award winning architects, Marsh Grochowski. It’s positioned next to the picturesque Victoria Gardens on the Trent Embankment, and is within ten minutes’ walk of both Nottingham city centre and West Bridgford. Designed to Code for Sustainable Homes level 4 (the fabric of the homes reaching 6) and according to the principles of Igloo’s Footprint sustainable development policy, it’s been great to see buyers respond so positively to a more architectural approach to design and a more sustainable low energy product. One buyer said: “I’m buying for the future.” Nicely put. Web: ourgreenstreet.co.uk Contact: John Long and Peter Conboy john.long@blueprint.gb.net peter.conboy@blueprint.gb.net |
