John developed Igloo's Green Lease for commercial property, and has corporate oversight of branding, marketing, sales and lettings.

Alec Hamlin
Development Manager
Alec joined Blueprint in 2007 after competing an MA in Property Development and Management at Nottingham Trent University. He completed his professional training at Blueprint and became a chartered Planning and Development Surveyor in 2010.

Alec works on Blueprint's property portfolios overseeing the leasing, letting and sale of Blueprint properties and has a particular focus on the post occupancy evaluation of Blueprint development projects. He has also worked alongside the University of Nottingham and Technology Strategy Board in researching the energy efficiency and 'in use' performance of buildings.

After paying his way through university by working in various kitchens in Leeds and Nottingham, Alec still loves to cook in his spare time. Although the fruits of his labors are (mostly) appreciated, the mess he makes whilst ‘in the zone’ is often not.
