| New director announced as Blueprint plans major East Midlands residential projectsMargaret Allen has joined the board of specialist regeneration developer Blueprint where she will help to oversee plans for major residential and mixed-use developments across the East Midlands.
Margaret is regional director for the East Midlands at the Homes and Communities Agency and has substantial experience in housing.
“I am delighted to become a director of Blueprint, and I share the commitment of all the directors to using great design to create great places to live,” she said.
Margaret joined the Homes and Communities Agency from the Housing Corporation where she was the Field Director – Central, responsible for delivery of the Corporation’s Investment and Regulation objectives across East Midlands, East of England and the West Midlands.
In her work at the Housing Corporation, she undertook senior roles in both regulation and investment. More recently, she was an active member of the Homes & Communities Agency set up team. She sees community development at the heart of her role and has sat on the Board of both market renewal and growth delivery boards.
Blueprint is a public-private partnership, and Margaret has experience of housing in both the public and private sectors.
