Art of Football to open new headquarters at Trent Basin

When planning the regeneration of Nottingham Waterside, we set out to create a self-serving, integrated community where people could live, work and socialise. With Art of Football (AoF) already active in the City, their new headquarters will bring social value and further investment to the area.

Art of Football is a Nottingham-based vintage football merchandise store, with a global reach and a mission to inspire creative expression and common goals. As well as the reworking of old football kits, the store also collaborates with some of the world’s most recognised brands such as Pepsi and Umbro and designs original club merchandise.

Its communications and actions often bring people together – whether that be supporters of the sport across the globe or local Nottingham communities. Keen to maintain its presence in the city with a passion to reinvest in the local area, AoF has spotted the potential of Trent Basin, choosing the neighbourhood as the new location for its headquarters. The building comprises the entrance of Trent Basin from Daleside Road, next to the development’s new pedestrian and cycle path.

As part of our community focus at Trent Basin, we collaborate with independent local businesses such as Art of Football to help build community in this diverse new neighbourhood. Blueprint has been working with AoF for the last 18 months to facilitate their move to one of Blueprint’s existing industrial buildings, the former Country Pine Warehouse.

AoF’s arrival is also supported by the opening of Future Makers Yard, a 9,000 sq ft muti-use space that’s used for events, markets, workshops and exhibitions. AoF has already established a name for itself within the neighbourhood, partnering with Future Makers to facilitate world cup screenings earlier this year. With its new headquarters at Trent Basin, the business will continue to invest in the community through events and will be actively looking to hire employees from the local area.

We’re looking forward to supporting future AoF events, as we continue to shape Nottingham’s Waterside into an integrated community that gives residents the tools to further establish their neighbourhood.

Designed by award-winning architects and managed by Blueprint Regeneration, Trent Basin is a neighbourhood of 350 high-quality, low-energy homes that have been developed to positively impact people’s wellbeing and the planet. Spread over 250 acres of land, the development plays a huge role in the Nottingham Waterside Regeneration project.

There are still a few plots available at Trent Basin. If you’re interested in finding out more, please contact our sales agents at William H Brown on 0115 981 9828 or e-mail at westbridgford@williamhbrown.co.uk to enquire.
