New Website Gives First Look at New Homes at Meadows Green

Sustainable developer Blueprint, has revealed the exciting range of new homes coming soon at its Meadows Green development, in the Old Meadows area of Nottingham.

A new Meadows Green website has been launched to give potential buyers the first opportunity to find out more information and view floorplans of the one, two, three and four bedroom homes.  Meadows Green comprises of two distinct developments – Trent Works and Mundella – each sensitive to the architectural character of the area whilst being thoroughly modern in terms of design and environmental credentials.

Mundella was previously a local authority building designed in a utilitarian Art Deco style dating from the 1930’s. The building retains most of its original features including interesting external brickwork, decorative floor details, high ceilings, large – almost industrial sized – windows and leaded decorative glasswork.  The most unusual feature of the building is the cloistered internal courtyard -a great period asset to any modern living space. This makes the range of two and three bedroom apartments at Mundella distinctly different from any other apartments in the city.

Reflecting on the character of the Old Meadows and its mix of Victorian industrial and residential, Trent Works takes its inspiration from Victorian design principles but utilises modern specifications. The development offers a range of one bedroom apartments, two and three bedroom two-storey homes and three and four bedroom townhouses.  Each include features such as verandas and terraces, open plan living areas and easy off-street parking.

Meadows Green is Blueprint’s third development in the Meadows alongside the highly successful Hobart & Pitcairn and Green Street projects. Alec Hamlin, Development Manager at Blueprint said: “We recognised several years ago that the area was one of the most under-appreciated in the city. Its close proximity to the beautiful and historic Victoria Embankment, the character of Old Meadows and the large amount of green space and parks makes it a great place to live.

“At Blueprint the heritage of a building is extremely important.  We’ve worked with top Nottingham architects Marsh Grochowski to ensure the properties at Meadows Green are designed to complement the historic architectural character of the area, whilst offering the very latest in design and environmental credentials.

“Each of the homes has been carefully designed to Blueprint’s quality specification with spacious light-filled interiors ideal for young professionals, downsizers and families looking for more contemporary, modern living in an excellent location.

“We’re delighted that our new website is now live, giving people the first look at the new homes which are expected to be released for sale in autumn 2020.   We have already received a substantial amount of enquiries and are urging those thinking of making a move to register their interest now.”

Meadows Green borders the beautiful green spaces of Victoria Embankment and the ‘Industrial Victorian’ area of the Old Meadows. With extensive recreational parks, playing fields, riverside walks, running, cycling and access to rowing and sports on the river, all on your doorstep; it offers an excellent location for an active and healthy lifestyle.

For commuters, there are a number of bus stops, a tram stop and safe cycling routes offering accessing into the city centre and West Bridgford. Meadows Green is just a ten minute walk from West Bridgford’s growing centre of bars, restaurants, independent shops and the city’s best farmers market.
